Walk'n'Train Program
Would like some additional help with educating and developing your dog?
Well, here's your answer! These sessions are designed to help facilitate the education and development and should be run in conjunction with the work you are doing at home.
Dogs need constant connection, education and development throughout their lives - otherwise they can learn to do things in other ways. Even if already educated your dog can quickly slip back into old habits unless desired behaviour is reinforced.
With this program, not only will Neri, Lisa or our team members walk your dog, but will provide expert emotional and social support for the dog and reinforce or teach the main communications. Your dog will benefit from both mental, emotional and physical stimulation.
They will review and teach the basic communications of sit, drop, stay, leave it, heel, wait and recall when ready. As an added benefit, your dog will learn to walk nicely on a lead too! Talk to Dog Whispering about any other special requests you may have.
The walk can end with some off-lead free exercise (provided your dog is not a runner!).
This program is ideal for dogs who are at home for long periods of time during the week and for people that would like additional support to their own training and development. This is a long term solution rather than a quick fix training plan. Many dogs are much happier around the house when they have had their daily 'Walk and Train'.
An assessment is required prior to commencing the walk and train program. The assessment type will be recommended based on the age, specific needs of your dog and any concerns you have identified during the inquiry and booking process. This consultation allows to identify any developmental concerns contributing to behaviours observed outside the home. It enables us to design a program that that addresses these issues holistically, rather than focusing solely on a training solution.
We understand that balancing lifes challanges can be difficult. The walk and train program offers consistent support for your dog, especially if you work away from home or have a busy family life. Its an excellent option ofr hleping a new puppy learn about the world.
